چکیده

Abstract This is a tutorial paper on the basics and applications of finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. Two types discretization linear governing equations, scalar-type FDTD method vector-type one, are first discussed. Then basic concept compact explicit-FDTD (CE-FDTD) described. By considering relationship between cutoff frequency computer resources, it shown that interpolated wide band scheme requires least resources among derivative schemes CE-FDTD The arbitrary shaped sound field by voxels its boundary conditions, implementation density variation also rendering real time renderer “Silicon concert hall” introduced.

Computer Simulation Techniques for Acoustical Design of Rooms - How to Treat Reflections in Sound Field Simulation

The paper presents a number of problems related to sound reflections, and possible solutions or approximations that can be used in computer models. The problems include: specular and diffuse reflections, early and late reflections, scattering due to rough structure of surfaces, diffraction due to finite size of surfaces, curved surfaces, convex and concave surfaces, angle dependent absorption. ...

On Simulation-Sound Trapdoor Commitments

We study the recently introduced notion of a simulation-sound trapdoor commitment (SSTC) scheme. In this paper, we present a new, simpler deenition for an SSTC scheme that admits more eecient constructions and can be used in a larger set of applications. Speciically, we show how to construct SSTC schemes from any one-way functions, and how to construct very eecient SSTC schemes based on speciic...

A Theoretical Study of Sound Field Reconstruction Techniques

Three different methods for the physical analysis and synthesis of sound fields are presented and compared: the least squares method, a method based on the Kirchhoff-Helmholtz integral equation and the generalised Fourier transform method (based on spherical harmonics). These three methods constitute the basis for many active control technologies and for some modern multi-channel audio technolo...

Virtual Reality System with Integrated Sound Field Simulation and Reproduction

A real-time audio rendering system is introduced which combines a full room-specific simulation, dynamic crosstalk cancellation, and multitrack binaural synthesis for virtual acoustical imaging. The system is applicable for any room shape (normal, long, flat, coupled), independent of the a priori assumption of a diffuse sound field. This provides the possibility of simulating indoor or outdoor ...
